| Are your papers acid-free/lignon free? | | Yes, with a few exceptions. As a general rule, any item which has plant material inclusions (like the rose petal paper and the grass paper) is not considered acid-free. This is mentioned in the description of those items. | | May I order a sample of a paper that I'm considering? | | We understand that you may want to see a paper in person before ordering a large amount, for wedding invitations, etc. Please email us with your request and we'll be happy to help you with this! | | What is the weight of your mulberry paper? Is it like cardstock? | | Mulberry paper like this is often called "tissue mulberry". While it varies in weight, and some is thick enough to go through the printer for instance, most is thin. It is a bit textured but actually "looks" more textured than it actually is; I know this sounds confusing! What I mean is that, when looking at a piece, you can see the wonderful fibers, etc, but to run your hand across a piece, it is smoother than you would think.
By the way, some paper that is made of mulberry IS thicker. For example, the mulberry kozo paper that I sell is much thicker, is textured, and yet goes through the printer wonderfully! |

| How long will it take for my product to arrive? | | We process and ship your order within 2 business days. Our products are shipped by the US Postal Service using first class or, for heavier shipments, priority mail. You will generally receive your order within seven business days. | | What are your shipping charges? | | We try very hard to charge only actual shipping, based on the weight of the ordered items. You will know the amount of your shipping charges before your order is finalized. | | Eeeek! My shipping charges are so high, why? | | There are three basic reasons why your shipping charge may seem high: (1) you ordered a very heavy product, like cardstock; (2) you ordered an item that requires special packaging, like 12 by 12 paper, so although the product is light, it needs to ship in a special, heavier package to protect it; (3) you live far, far from Ohio! |
