Simple, simple, simple, yet so elegant! Our new favorite products are Theme Masks. Masks are opposites of stencils. They are made from a flexible, reusable material with a repositionable adhesive on the back so they will stay in place as mediums are applied over the top. Great for use with chalk, watercolor, inks, acrylic and spray paint. Place used Masks back on to the backer sheet and store to use again. We tried out the "Flower Bouquet Large" on the shown sample card. In five minutes, we had a great card that would impress any recipient!
First, we removed the mask from the backing material. It has a repositionable adhesive on the back, but it is not messy or overly sticky.
Then, we positioned the mask on the front of the card. Using a sponge spouncer that was dabbed on an ink pad, we tapped ink all over the front of the card, right over the mask. Then, viola! Removing the mask reveals the awesome pattern that we created! Adding a stamped saying (using the same ink color that we did for the mask) and a couple of Loopy Brads and Scrapper's Floss completes a super quick, yet super chic card!
