Attaching ribbon to your paper project doesn't have to be difficult! In fact, it is even fashionable to use visible staples to do it! Two of our favorite techniques are:
Brads!
Simply cut your ribbon to size (some like the ends to show on top of the paper, others like to wrap the ribbon around to the backside of the project, so the ends do not show)
Use a hole reamer to put a small hole in both the ribbon and the paper.
Slip in a colorful, co-ordinating brad!
Xyron!
We love our xyron! When they first came out about 10 years ago, you needed about $100 to get the benefits of this adhesive applicator. But now, just $9.99 will get you a xyron that is the perfect size for ribbon, small die-cuts, and so much more! In fact, anything up to 1 1/2" wide will fit in this little wonder. Just slip in your ribbon, pull the tab on the bottom and out comes your ribbon with adhesive on the back! Since it's not a wet adhesive, like glue, it doesn't show through the ribbon.
